HP iPAQ 114 Reviews
Trusted Reviews has a review of the HP iPAQ 114 and writes, “Overall, as a basic Windows Mobile organiser, the iPAQ 114 does hold some appeal. It’s not horrendously expensive and has some nice features such as that light sensor, its large readable 3.5in screen, a 3.5mm audio socket and a very quick and responsive performance…But in a world where you can have a slim, smart PDA phone, such as the Glofiish X600, with GPS, a camera and a higher resolution screen on a contract for even less money than this, you have to question why anyone would choose such a device.” Link.
CNET UK reviews the HP iPAQ 114 and writes, “HP obviously feel there is a need to release a traditional PDA back into the market place. While most manufacturers are converging multiple technologies into one device, the 114 is completely the opposite. Granted it’s a strong performer, but with its transflective screen HP had an opportunity to add a GPS component to the mix, as a result its appeal will be limited.” Link.
IT Reviews has a review of the HP iPAQ 114 and writes, “Hewlett Packard was around at the very birth of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system. In those days there was no such thing as a PDA with an integrated SIM card, Wi-Fi was a blip on the horizon, screens were monochrome and there was an air of excitement about a new generation of computing devices…A PDA that doesn’t also act as a mobile phone is not everyone’s cup of tea. But if it is what you are looking for, then the iPAQ 114 Classic is a solid performer.” Link.
