Samsung SGH-i750

PDA News has a review of the Samsung SGH-i750 and writes, “Another first for a Pocket PC Phone: You can output the screen contents on a TV set, beamer or video goggles. While Samsung should be highly commended for providing this capability, our tests showed the output quality to be a mixed bag. While the stereo audio came through unscathed, the pictures were suffering from some flicker. Looking at horizontal lines in the Windows Mobile UI could easily give you an headache and video output from Windows Media Player looked too dark, lacked detail and had serious frame dropping problems, whereas it looked great on the QVGA screen at the same time. Seems as if Samsung tried to cut a corner by using inexpensive components for the TV out.”
