PC Advisor reviews the Aiptek DV Z300 and writes, “At first glance, Aiptek’s plasticky and flimsy Pocket DV Z300HD-V is a lightweight camcorder whose style reflects its inexpensive price tag…The lightweight Aiptek Pocket DV Z300HD-V, which features a metallic blue and chrome casing, feels plasticky and fairly flimsy – in particular with regards to its USB port cover…The Aiptek Pocket DV Z300HD-V is a solid budget buy. If you want to capture some special moments in HD and aren’t too bothered about an all-singing, all-dancing camcorder, then the Aiptek PocketDV Z300HD-V is for you.” Link.
IT reviews has a review of the Aiptek DV Z300 and writes, “The Z300HD-V has been well designed to be easy to use and offer a reasonable range of control. What you miss on this camera - which is around half the price of solid-state camcorders from big names like Panasonic - is image quality. While it’s good in strong light, it’s not so good indoors. As for the HD, you could show video from this camcorder on your 42-inch plasma TV, but it wouldn’t do the screen justice.” Link.
