AIPTEK continues to lead the way in affordable technology. On May 28, 2007 AIPTEK will launch the GO-HD — a true 720P HD camcorder. HD is the new standard for video and AIPTEK’s GO-HD puts it right in the palm of any value minded consumer’s hand. It delivers all the power of the latest technology, like vibrant, true to life colors, and of course, the astonishing clarity of High Definition. This revolutionary camcorder encompasses 720P (1280×720 pixel resolution / 16:9 aspect ratio) at 30 frames per second. The GO-HD uses advanced H.264 codec technology that allows users to record approximately 4 hours of HD video clips in 8GB High Capacity SD. Designed with the future in mind, the GO-HD offers HCSD card expansion as well. Currently users benefit from up to 8GB SD card memory.
The GO-HD is also one of the smallest HD camcorders available, measuring approximately 4.5″ x 2.75″ x 1.25″ and weighing only about 7.5 ounces. Other features include a 3x Optical Zoom with Auto-Focus, one touch recording, a 270 degree Swivel-Reversible 2.4″ TFT Color LCD Display, AIPTEK’s Night Shot feature, which enhances image quality in dark or low light settings (up to 4 feet) by utilizing built-in LED lights. The GO-HD is equipped with a built-in charger as well, so it can be recharged via USB when attached to a PC or by attaching the AC charger cable (included) and plugging it in to any convenient outlet. There is no need to remove the battery from the camera. The GO-HD also functions as a digital camera with a 5 Mega Pixel CMOS sensor, a 2-inch Macro Zoom and Auto-Focus, giving consumers even more choices on how they want to capture the moment. Compatibility is not issue for the GO-HD as it can connect to any HDTV & HD Monitor, Standard TV, or PC (Users will need to load the software provided for PC or have QuickTime 7.0 or higher for Mac.
